The Story of Inishfree
Originally built sometime in the mid 1900s, the home was named after the tranquil Island of Inishfree in Ireland, a place of peace, beauty and timeless charm.
As the years passed, Inishfree was cherished by many owners, each leaving a chapter in its story. Yet through the changing seasons of time, much of the home’s original heart and character endured.
When the Schefe family began their Inishfree story in August 2024, they saw not just a beautiful old house that they had been driving past and admiring from afar for years, but a warm and welcoming home just waiting to be loved once more.
With patience, passion, and an eye for every thoughtful detail, they have carefully restored the home, honouring its rich history while gently weaving a new chapter, one where timeless beauty, warm hospitality, and unforgettable celebrations can flourish for generations to come.
